The West Course is one of three acclaimed courses at Myrtle Beach National Golf Club, located just a few miles inland from central Myrtle Beach off of Highway 501 and very much in the center of the Grand Strand. Designed by Arnold Palmer and Francis Duane, the course opened in 1973 and has long been considered a particular “locals’ favorite” course in the area. With new MiniVerde Bermuda greens that handle the South Carolina heat better than bentgrass varieties, the West Course is on the rise.
